A trail running south out of downtown Bentonville toward the legendary Slaughter Pen riding area.
Most of it is protected, car-free trail, but Greenway is honest that a couple of short street links near the square keep it from being a perfect score — which is exactly why it grades a notch below the lake loops. It's the natural way to roll from the Bentonville square out to the trails without driving.
Start at the downtown square, where there's parking, food and coffee in every direction, and ride out toward the Slaughter Pen and Coler trailheads. Watch for traffic on the brief downtown street sections; the rest is smooth and separated.
